Orders & Fulfillment
Last updated: June 30, 2026
What this page helps you do: understand exactly what happens from the moment a buyer taps "Buy" to the moment their package arrives.
Selling on Streamster is guest checkout, start to finish. You share a buy link, the buyer pays through Stripe without creating an account, the order lands in your dashboard, you ship it — buying a label in-app or adding tracking yourself — and the buyer tracks it at the order lookup page. No buyer accounts, no auctions, no in-app chat — just a clean buy-and-ship flow with automatic emails.
The full order lifecycle
- You share a buy link — send a product's buy link in your stream, caption, or DMs, or feature the product as an on-stream overlay so viewers can tap to buy.
- The buyer checks out as a guest — they open the link, enter shipping and payment, and pay through your Stripe account. No account is created. They get an order reference and a confirmation email.
- The order appears in your dashboard — you see the item, quantity, total, tax, your net, and shipping address under your Orders list (it refreshes automatically).
- You ship it — buy a shipping label in-app (Pro) or mark it shipped with a tracking number you already have.
- The buyer is notified and tracks it — they get a shipped email and can look up status anytime (below).
You are the merchant of record. The buyer pays you directly through Stripe, and you handle shipping and customer service. Streamster takes a tiered commission (Starter 4%, Creator+ 2%, Pro 1%); your Stripe processing fees come out of your own balance. See Payments & Fees.
The Orders dashboard
Open Orders in your seller dashboard. At the top you'll see totals for orders, revenue, refunds, and disputes. Below is your order list — search by customer name, email, or order ID, and filter by status.
Each order carries two kinds of status:
| Status type | Values | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Payment status | Completed · Refunded · Disputed | The state of the payment in Stripe |
| Fulfillment status | Pending · Shipped · Delivered | Where the order is in shipping |
Shipping an order
On a paid order that hasn't shipped yet, click Ship. There are two ways to fulfill it.
Option A — Buy a label in Streamster (Creator+ and Pro plans)
On Creator+ and Pro plans, Streamster fetches live shipping rates through your connected Shippo account — labels bill directly to your Shippo account.
- Click Ship. Streamster pulls live rates using your ship-from address and your default package size (set in Settings → Shipping).
- If the same buyer has more than one pending order, you can combine them onto a single label.
- Pick a rate (the cheapest is pre-selected) and click Buy label.
- The label PDF opens in a new tab to print. The order's carrier, tracking number, tracking link, and label are saved automatically and its status flips to Shipped.
✓ What success looks like: the order shows as Shipped with a tracking link, the label PDF is ready to print, and the buyer is emailed automatically ("Buyer notified").
Set up shipping first. In-app labels need your ship-from address, a default package size (Length / Width / Height in inches, Weight in oz), and a connected Shippo account under Settings → Shipping. If any are missing, rates won't load and the Orders page tells you what to add. Buying labels in-app is a Creator+ or Pro feature.
Option B — Mark shipped manually (any plan)
Prefer your own carrier and postage? In the same Ship dialog, switch to manual entry:
- Pick the carrier — USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL, Amazon, or Other.
- Enter the tracking number (optional) and any notes.
- Save to mark the order Shipped. Streamster turns supported carriers + tracking numbers into a clickable tracking link automatically.
✓ What success looks like: the order is marked Shipped. If you added a tracking number, the buyer gets a shipped email with the tracking link; without one, no email is sent — so add tracking when you have it.
After it ships
- Mark Delivered — flip a shipped order to Delivered once it arrives.
- Reprint the label — open the saved label PDF again any time.
- Void a label — if you bought a Shippo label by mistake, void it before using it.
- Refund — issue a full or partial refund on a completed order; the commission is returned proportionally (see Payments & Fees).
Emails buyers get automatically
- Order confirmation — sent right after checkout with the order reference and a lookup link.
- Shipped notification — sent when you ship with a tracking number (always, when you buy a label; on manual shipping, when you enter a tracking number), with a "Track your package" button.
You also get your own "new order" notification email when a sale comes in.
How buyers track their order
Because there are no buyer accounts, buyers track orders through a public lookup page instead of an inbox:
- The buyer goes to streamster.shop/orders/lookup.
- They enter their order reference (format
STR-XXXXXXXX) and the email they used at checkout. - They see the order status, the item, who it's sold by, the total and tax, the shipping address, and — once you ship — the carrier and a tracking link.
Tip: tell buyers to keep their order reference. It's shown on the confirmation screen and in their confirmation email, and it's required (with their email) to look the order up.
How buyers contact you
Every order lookup page, store page, and checkout success page has a Contact Seller button. The buyer enters their email and a message; it reaches you by email with their address as the reply-to, so you just hit reply to respond. Messages go to your support email (set it in your dashboard) or your account email, and your address is never shown to the buyer.
What Streamster does NOT include
To keep the experience focused, Streamster intentionally does not have:
- Buyer accounts or buyer logins
- Auctions or bidding
- In-app comments or chat
Audience chat happens natively on Facebook and Instagram during your live stream; purchasing, tracking, and contact all happen through Streamster's buy link, order lookup, and contact form.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do buyers need an account to purchase?
No. Buyers check out as guests through the buy link you share and pay via Stripe. No buyer account is created. They receive an order reference and a confirmation email.
Can I buy shipping labels inside Streamster?
Yes, on Creator+ and Pro plans. Click Ship on an order to fetch live rates from your connected Shippo account, pick one, and buy the label — the carrier, tracking number, and label PDF auto-populate, the status flips to Shipped, and the buyer is emailed. Labels bill directly to your Shippo account — Streamster never handles shipping costs. If you haven't connected your Shippo account yet, the Orders page will guide you to Settings → Shipping to do so first.
How do buyers track their order?
Buyers go to streamster.shop/orders/lookup and enter their order reference and the email they used at checkout. They see the order status and, once you ship, the carrier and tracking link. They also get an automatic shipped email.
How does a buyer contact me about an order?
Every order lookup page and store page has a Contact Seller button. The buyer's message reaches you by email with their address as the reply-to, so you just hit reply. Your email address is never shown to the buyer.
